In the past few years I have been through divorce and my four children growing up and leaving home. I can see that in my overly cluttered home I am hanging on to the dregs of the old life and I need to 'cleanse' it and welcome in the new. It's something we've loved to do, and my son, who's now 20, still reminds me each year to go to the shops. We always look out for unusual things.

This year, our tree was absolutely magnificent and there was an extra
feeling of regret to take it all down.

Now, I am going to follow your idea, Susan. It may be January 21, but I think I'll decide it's just the beginning. I even met people while I was Dining alone, you kind of guessed everyone was at the convention and we all had the same things on our mind. A morning breakfast speaker was the Man who wrote A Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, thats how long ago it was. I wish it seemed like yesterday, it does steel feel fresh though. There is a big one in Frankfurt Germany every year, I've been trying to find a reason to go. As if the Book Fair isn't big enough. I managed to grab some miniature childrens books, I had hoped they would be quite collectible. Snagging an autograph also gets you a little more for your collection. I don't know if I'll sell anything ever. My best finds are for a dollar or two at someones tag sale. Anything out of print from pre 1919, I get a huge thrill, like I'm at a Book Expo. Keep the happy face and we know your a book reader. The Tuskhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11372022574714082288noreply@blogger.com
